A humbling honor

I had the opportunity to speak to the Clarksville Noon Rotary Club today. I expected to have a great time and see my long-time friend, Dr. Al Williams while there.
Wow, did he surprise me today!

Dr. Al is a 9th Level Paul Harris Fellow and he bestowed the Paul Harris award in my name today.
It was hard for me to contain my excitement at this great honor.

Dr. Al and Martha have been long time friends to our entire family and his kindness and generosity are above and beyond expectations.

I am truly blessed to have friends such as these!

On the Plains

Matthew, Gena and I are in Auburn today to visit Auburn University.
Matt is looking into the architecture and building science programs.

More on that later.

My prayers are with the Franklin Aldermen and mayor as they prepare to choose a replacement for Dennis Phillips tomorrow evening.
I know that God will lead them to a candidate who will help the board move forward.
